
Paul Watts - Assistant Media Director
Paul has an unsurpassed knowledge of all thing’s emergency services, in particular the Emergency Medical Services market.
Having worked within the industry for the last 20 years, Paul started his career in the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust as 999 Call Handler/Despatcher, he then trained as an Ambulance Tutor, before taking up a development post as an Emergency Planning Manager (latterly known as Emergency Planning Resilience and Response), and finally finishing his Ambulance career as a Community Resuscitation Training Officer.

He then moved into the commercial world working for various companies such as Laerdal Medical, SP Services UK Ltd, Falck Denmark, Johnson & Jonhson, Winncare and more recently GBUK where he is the GBUK Banana Product Manager.
​
In his spare time Paul is a volunteer Coastguard Rescue Officer with HM Coastguard Canvey Island Coastguard Rescue Team.
​
He also enjoys spending time on his boat and holds the following Royal Yachting Association qualifications: Inland Waterways Helmsmen, Power Level II, Essentials of Seamanship & Navigation and VHF with DSC.
