Clive Bush - Rope Rescue Specialist
Clive has in-depth knowledge in Rope Access & WAH within the Emergency Services and MRT inc height safety, technical access, and rescue.
Clive is responsible for training and maintaining the Rope Access team and all training in relation to WAH.
Clive also delivers Rope Access Courses to other Emergency services to give them the capability of a Rope Access team
Clive served in the military - Army – 2nd Battalion The Light Infantry for 6 years.
Clive also is a voluntary member of ASSAR Avon and Somerset Search and Rescue – MRT to aid other emergency services if required – He also plans and
delivers training to the Technical Rope Rescue Team who cover Cheddar & Avon Gorge Cliffs
Clive is also part of the team that covers Technical Rope Rescue for iconic sights in the London.
Clive is passionate about sharing his experience and furthering the knowledge and understanding of others in this specialist rescue field. He has organized rope rescue events for all the emergency service rope teams. This an excellent JESIP opportunity for all the units to work together.
Clive has taken part in International Rope Rescue competitions from Belgium, North America & Japan.
Clive holds the voluntary position of Rope Rescue Assessor for UKRO (United Kingdom Rescue Organisation)
